The Frederick's
A glamorous Berlin affair, dressed in pink & red.
Two years holding the creative direction of a glamorous restaurant-bar in central Berlin. Print and digital menus, cocktail campaigns, event posters, influencer collaborations, bilingual DE/EN communications. Real work, delivered, published.
The Frederick's, part of Rhubarb Hospitality, is a glamorous restaurant-bar in central Berlin. As Graphic Designer & Marketing Assistant, I was the team's single point of contact for everything image-related: from table menus to Instagram campaigns. Core mission: produce the menus. Actual mission: keep the brand alive, day after day.
Regular updates as the chef rotated dishes and prices shifted. A print edition on every table for service, a vertical digital edition for signage and online sharing. Tight typography, strict hierarchy, because a menu has to read fast and make you hungry right away.
Three signature cocktails, staged like portraits. Same grid, same light treatment, same crown typography: a small series the bar could recycle on posters, the drinks menu, or Instagram without ever losing its tone.
Print posters for the storefront and the blocks around the restaurant, digital visuals for Instagram stories and posts, event posters for seasonal nights. One visual language, stretched across every format without losing its grip.
Organizing and running several collaborations with Berlin-based food & lifestyle influencers. They came to dine at the restaurant, we filmed with them, we tracked the rollout on Instagram. Marketing role: profile selection, creative brief, on-site logistics, repurposing the assets across our own channels.

Keeping a visual signature consistent across dozens of pieces, different media, different seasons. The brand stays recognizable without ever freezing in place.
The same idea carried from an A4 paper menu to a storefront poster, then lifted into an Instagram story or a carousel. No drop in quality between formats.
Every piece produced in both languages, with the typographic rules that belong to each. A real rigour exercise when the same message has to land in German and English without losing its tone.
More than a design production role: influencer coordination, event rollout, publication tracking. A concrete step from the graphic studio into the daily life of a marketing team.
Two years in Berlin, setting creative directions and defending them every day. The method travels.
